Being Authentic

Engaging the audience.

Authentic: Of undisputed origin; genuine (Dictionary.com)

Whether its facilitating virtual or classroom training for groups, empowering professional growth or coaching through change, I have been delighted to engage others in the process of change through an unwaivering authenticity.

How can we help you to hone your natural you-ness to move mountains? Whether you are looking for coaching in the classroom, being a dynamo in a virtual environment or simply prepare for your next career goal, let us help you!

my Experience journey

Lifelong learner/Teacher

I spent a number of years serving in the non/not for profit space. It was an early desire to help others, nurture individual strengths and move communities in a positive direction. I’ve served in many roles and…worn many hats…throughout my career but none more satisfying than recognizing when a participant, client, colleague has an Ah-ha moment.

Community Mental health

A decade of experience serving communities working with rural, urban and suburban families. Where I discovered my passion for designing and facilitating learning. Led community education, staff training and was a contract facilitator for the State of Ohio

Public Fortune 400

Shined in being “learning agile”. Joined the corporate world and moved around the Human Resource/Learning team talking on roles as the HR/Learning function was being built. Was wondrous participating in the process as the organization shifted to a more strategic HR. Ended my tenure as a learning consultant influencing business leaders to trust the newly built Learning team as we centralized core content

privately held

What I like, what I don’t like was a big take away from my time here. Likes: Building change plans (enterprise wide/department wide), empowering change champions, collaborating with HR. Dislikes: Professionals who believe change management is about forcing people through change

ENTREPRENEUR

Starting to fly. A decade ago, I started a business, loved every bit of it, but after the mortgage crisis, it fizzled out. So here I am, a new, clean, brightly painted home office and just like that the offers start coming in. Discovering again who I am as a skilled facilitator — An authentic teacher=Being other directed, telling personal stories, making jokes, admitting mistakes, approachable, listening to participant experiences……..

Cindi is a powerhouse facilitator. She makes all of her trainees feel at ease with her warm and inviting demeanor, always making a deliberate point to make everyone comfortable.

Gild Collective co-founder July 2019

Cindi was the first external facilitator that we brought on to the Gild Collective team, and as a result, her feedback on the materials and guidance provided has been instrumental in the development of our facilitator onboarding. She is always willing to provide feedback and is able to adjust to regular changes in our approach!
